| This kitchen boasts quality with its custom made, natural cherry cabinets, granite counter tops, beautiful inlays in the heated, ceramic floor, and custom made bar stools. To further enhance the beauty and lend continuity of design between the kitchen and adjoining family room, Aretz Interiors used the same fabric on the custom stools as was used on chairs in the family room. |
Aretz Interiors design ideas didn't end there, however. Two highly unusual design elements have been employed in this kitchen - the ceiling above the bar conforms to the radius and shape of the counter top on the bar, and note the window that is not only above the sink , but is also above the counter top - and below the cupboards . Prior to Aretz Interiors remodeling this kitchen, there was no window at all where the sink is now. This was a particular shame, as there is a beautiful view of a creek outside of that wall. Aretz Interiors allowed the creek to be seen from the inside, thereby enhancing the overall beauty of this kitchen.

- Removal of a hallway wall to increase the size of the kitchen and bring the pantry more effectively into the kitchen space
- Removal of the "pass-through" wall between the family room and kitchen, allowing for an open bar and stool area between the family room and kitchen.
Aretz Interiors made this home more functional, more flowing, and far more beautiful.

Before Aretz Interiors remodeled this home, the floor plan was chopped up and did not flow well. There was little space and light in the kitchen, and the family room and kitchen were totally separate from each other. |
After Aretz Interiors was finished, the kitchen had light, space, and an open feeling to the family room. The bar and stools in between the family room and kitchen bring the two spaces together into one large, light and flowing area. A middle island with a couple of stools allows for seating in the kitchen for a visitor to the cook, or a breakfast area for those hurried and harried mornings. |
